One of the most recognizable architectural jewels in all of Hampton Roads, Hampton Coliseum is set on 75 acres adjacent to the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The arena is perfect for indoor athletics such as wrestling, basketball, hockey and gymnastics. Venue amenities include four team dressing rooms, two officials' rooms, full box office with nine ticket windows, pressroom, first aid room and eight concessions stands.

Located on the Hampton University campus, the HU Convocation Center has been hosting athletic events since 1993. The Peninsula Pilots are an amateur baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, collegiate summer baseball league. The team plays its home games at the War Memorial Stadium in Hampton, Virginia. The Pilots first started participating in the Coastal Plain League in 2000.
