Hampton Oysters Past and Present — Celebrating our ethnic maritime heritage and our present day progress!

Come celebrate Hampton’s Oyster and Seafood heritage and present day flavor! Discover the role that Native Americans and African Americans played in building Hampton’s seafood industry.

Event includes a docent-led tour at the Hampton History Museum and a hands-on oyster restoration experience.  We conclude our tour at the neighboring Grey Goose Restaurant with melt-in-your-mouth seafood appetizers prepared by celebrated local chef Dana Clark Epstein.
